NTC – committed to the global church
This week representatives from NTC have been attending significant meetings of educational partners from around the Eurasia region. At the beginning of the week Dr. Kent Brower attended the annual meeting of the Regional Course of Study Advisory Committee meeting. The RCOSAC meeting deals with the courses of study across the region that candidates for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene are required to undertake. It receives proposals from education providers and assesses their suitability for ordination according to the criteria established by the General Nazarene Church. It also advises providers in how to develop education for pastors as well as advising on life-long learning. It is signifcant that Dr. Brower sits on this committee as NTC continues to offer the highest level of education to pastors in training. Around the table at the meeting are representatives from India, Portugal, Wales, Ukraine, The Netherlands, Jordan and more besides. It shows just what a global church we are part of!

In 1956 they moved to Malawi, where they pioneered the Nazarene work there. They retired to Northern Ireland.

NTC’s 70th / 100th Year Anniversary Celebrations
2014 is a special year for us–this year marks 70 years of continuous Nazarene education in the UK, as well as 100 Years of the iconic White House on our campus in Didsbury. To celebrate, we hosted a garden party which featured live jazz music, archive displays about the history of the White House and the College, lawn games, a photo booth, a “Story Corner” where people could record their memories, and books from local historian Diana Leitch.
