Course Leader and programme Innovator: Theology (Youth & Inter-Generational ministry)

Salary £18,060 (£25,800 pro-rata)
Are you creative, forward-thinking, passionate about working and ministering with children, youth, families and older people and how the church connects with them?
Reporting directly to the Dean of the College, you will be fully responsible for the continuing Youth Work and Community programmes of the College and for the design and transition to a new pathway in Theology and Intergenerational ministry. Working with other departments, you will be an integral member of the faculty team.
Nazarene Theological College is a partner college of The University of Manchester. Situated in Didsbury, Manchester, the College is an institution of the Church of the Nazarene. Founded in 1944, NTC has some 350 students (both full and part time), across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study, representing some thirty-five different nationalities.
The appointed candidate will strategically co-ordinate Nazarene Theological College’s current Youth programme with the aim of developing new areas of programming. You will be ready to work with the wider team to drive forward the College’s strategic plans and be a collaborative leader.
Key responsibilities include: support for students on the current BA in Theology: Youth work and community; overseeing the welfare and course progression for students currently enrolled on the programme. Core to the role will be developing (along with others) a new pathway in intergenerational ministries from feasibility studies, to its design and developmentfor delivery.
