Whitney Lett
Lecturer in Counselling
I joined NTC in 2025 with the start of their Counselling pathway. Already having a strong appreciation for NTC and the community that surrounds it, it feels special to now contribute in my specific field of study. I look forward to seeing quality counsellors develop and grow out of this distinctive community.
I have undergraduate degrees both in Psychology and Ministry from MidAmerica Nazarene University in Kansas, USA. Double majoring in these areas allowed me to explore my interests in understanding people and theology. After university, I spent a year teaching English in China, and then returned to the States where I completed my Masters of Arts in Counselling.
Before coming to NTC, I worked as a counsellor at an eating disorder treatment centre, a domestic violence shelter, and with children and families in the foster care system. Additionally, I held clinical counselling licensure in the state of Kansas and taught Psychology at the undergraduate level.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, being in nature, creating, and resting.
