Intensive Courses
What is an intensive course?
An intensive course is an opportunity to complete a learning unit in a condensed space of time: either a week on campus or over six weeks online. This will give you the opportunity to experience excellent NTC learning around the commitments of your everyday life.
On campus
Dene Rd, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2GU
Commit your time to your studies in a faith-based learning environment that allows you to fully immerse yourself in your learning experience. From chapel to daily coffee, our campus offers a suburban retreat that allows you to dedicate yourself to a week of challenging and stretching learning.
Online
Flexible learning that fits around your schedule, our online courses allow you to participate in academically robust learning without compromising on your commitments. Led by our faculty, you’ll still benefit from the academic prestige offered at NTC and our faith-based community from the comfort of your own home.

Foundations of Youth Ministry
This unit looks at a range of approaches to Christian youth ministry, from its beginnings in the UK as part of youth and community work, to the current role of the youth minister, the spiritual development of young people, and the different ways that young people can be introduced to, nurtured, discipled, and actively participate within the Christian faith.
Marriage & Family

MA COURSES
May 31st to June 7th, 2025
Advanced Greek Texts
This course invites students who have already completed undergraduate studies of NT Greek (NT5301 and NT5302 or their equivalent) to advance their knowledge of Koiné Greek to begin New Testament research at a higher degree level.
Social Entrepreneurship
With the State and many centrally-funded organisations and denominations in crisis, and no longer reliable for innovative, needed and funded responses, the need for entrepreneurial leaders becomes more critical. This unit will encourage the student to reflect critically on essential characteristics of entrepreneurial leaders, How can Christians be such leaders in churches, social enterprises, and the charity sectors?
Environmentalism and Christian Spirituality
In this module, we bring together the tools of practical and historical theology in order to explore the emerging field of contemplative ecology. The diverse set of challenges posed by ecology to modern theology require both excavation of neglected Christian traditions and theological creativity in the wake of an increasingly spiritual edge to ecological crises.
