New Delivery options for the Certificate in Theology
NTC is pleased to announce the introduction of a new flexible delivery study option for the one year Certificate in Theology.
The new delivery mode will start in September 2020. The innovative element is that it will allow students from any part of the UK to pursue this award without relocating: it uses flexible delivery methods to fit the lifestyle of those who are unable, because of work, family, or geography, to take the course through traditional study routes.
The Certificate will be completed over three years, with students taking four classes each year. Each year, TWO units will be taken by intensive study, and TWO by a combination of Saturday study and video-conference. Students are eligible to access student loan funding for this, if they don’t already have a degree.
For the intensive classes, students come to Manchester for five days, then finish course work work at home. The Saturday School sees students spend two Saturdays at College for each class, with the rest of the sessions being video-conferenced (an hour and a half on five Monday evenings).
Each cohort has a maximum of ten places, so space will be assigned on a first-come, first served, basis.
