When I tell people I went to library school, the most common reaction is either “You’re joking, right?” or “They have schools for librarians? Do they teach you how to properly sssh people?
Helen has a Masters in Theology from the University of St Andrews and completed her Masters in Librarianship at the University of Sheffield in 2013. After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of St Andrews, Helen spent two years working as library assistant for the Random House Group at their Library and Archives which is located in Northamptonshire, UK.
In July 2013, Helen became Librarian at the Nazarene Theological College and works as the MWRC assistant alongside her role as Librarian. Helen is actively involved with the Association of British Theological and Philosophical Libraries as well as working with librarians at Nazarene institutions around the world. She is a member of the development team for the Wesleyan Holiness Digital Library and in January 2016, she was part of a team who helped to implement the first automated library system (OPALS) at Southern Africa Nazarene University in Swaziland.
