Jason C. Boyd has served three Congregational Churches belonging to the Congregational Federation, UK (1994-present).  Born in Canada (1971) he has lived in the UK since 1993. Biblical studies, Ignatian spirituality, and action research are sources for his vocation.

He serves his denomination as a tutor for the Congregational Institute of Practical Theology. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Chester in 2015, an action research thesis focusing on his practice of preaching with his congregation. This has been published as a monograph as ‘The Naked Preacher’ by SCM Press in 2018. He is married to Viviane and has three children in early adulthood. Running and making music are favourite pastimes.
