Olubunmi is originally from London and worked within the housing sector for several years until she decided in the early years of the millennium to work as a volunteer with Mercy Ships in the Caribbean and Africa. It was there that her passion and love for reading and information was reignited while working in the ships’ library. Upon her return applied to Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen to do an MSc in Information & Library Studies. Since her graduation in 2008, she has worked in the school, public, special, further and higher education library sectors which has greatly enhanced her knowledge and personality.
In addition to her Masters’ degree in Librarianship, she holds a BA (Hons) in English, a Diploma in Management Studies (D.M.S.), the Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults (CELTA) and has just completed a certificate course in Coaching, Learning and Development.
