How to Apply for Postgraduate Study at NTC

Step 1

Everyone is welcome to attend College ‘Open Days’ throughout the year, or we can arrange a ‘bespoke tour’ to help you to find out more about NTC.

Step 2

When you have decided to apply to the College, download and complete the online postgraduate application form, listing your referees and submitting with payment of your application fee.

Step 3

We will contact your referees, requesting their references. Submit these with your application form and Application fee to our Registrar via post.

Step 4

Contact the finance office to request a ‘Postgraduate Financial Aid Form’. Submit this via email to the Academic Office.

Step 5

In most cases, MA students are not required to complete an interview. However, we may contact you to arrange a meeting in person or via Skype if your previous studies are in a different field or if you are seeking non-traditional entry.

Step 6

Once the process is complete, the Academic Office will write to you to inform you of the outcome. If you are admissible, you will be given either an Unconditional Offer of Acceptance or a Conditional Offer of Acceptance. The Academic Office will also inform you at this stage of any Financial Aid awarded to you by the College.

Deferred entry:

The College is happy to accept applications from students wishing to defer their entry by one year, especially if they have particular plans for the year or, for example, wish to gain relevant work experience or improve language skills.
