Ministers’ Summer School and Lifelong Learners

For our Ministers’ and lifelong learners, there’s plenty to look forward to over the summer season here at NTC.

Firstly, we’d love to welcome you to our Minister’s Summer School on Friday the 16^th and Saturday the 17^th of May. Our weekend will begin with the Proximity Conference at Message Trust HQ, which will take place just around the corner from our campus in Didsbury.

Proximity Conference

The Proximity Conference focuses on ministry in estates and urban communities, with several speakers and workshops you can participate in. You can learn more about the line up by clicking here.

After Friday’s conference, you’re invited to join us at NTC to gather for a meal, fellowship, facilitated reflection and prayer. Of course, we also plan to get your Saturday off to an exciting start with breakfast and fellowship at the college. We’ll then return for day 2 of the proximity conference.

We hope these opportunities for reflection and conversation will help cement the conference’s learning and consider how it might be applied to different contexts.

How to book

There are plenty of options for our summer school, whether you want to come for the conference and meal at the college, or would prefer to attend just one – it’s not a problem. We’ve split registration into two stages:

Important details

The Proximity Conference will be held at Message Trust HQ, Lancaster House, Harper Road, Sharston, Manchester, M22 3RG, and meals will be served at Nazarene Theological College (café), Dene Road, Didsbury, M20 2GU.

The cost for Friday and Saturday conferences with a lunch option is £25, but you can select your preferred options.

Accommodation isn’t included, but there are a range of hotels and B&Bs near both venues.
