A journey through the historical and systematic development of Christian doctrine and spirituality

Course Overview

This pathway invites students into the historical and systematic development of Christian doctrine and spirituality, ranging from the patristic era to contemporary theology. Students can specialise in systematic theology, historical theology, Wesley studies, or church history — shaping the degree around their own interests and calling. It’s excellent preparation for ministry, mission, or further study in the humanities, and a strong foundation for doctoral research.

Classes

You will choose one core class, one pathway class, plus two electives. You will be required to write your dissertation in the area of church history, Wesleyan studies, or systematic theology.
