Over the years, hundreds of students from across the world have graduated from our College. From here, they’ve gone on to serve the mission of God in all manner of ways impacting lives and communities on every continent!.
Of course, there is a cost to this, and we invite you to help support others on a journey that sees people and communities developed, shaped, and transformed. You can donate to NTC for a specific dream-project or fund or you can make a general donation towards the daily ordinary needs or development costs of the College.
You can contribute to the following areas:
Principal's Project
Each year, our Principal sets a project to transform the college in some way. Previously, we have funded building repairs via Raise the Roof, allowed for better online study via Transforming our Technology, and achieved similar goals.
Small Regular Giving
General Donations
As a small independent confessional college, we rely on provision to keep our doors open. Whether this is for our heating, eating, teaching, maintenance, or more, we are deeply thankful for every penny put towards a general donation to NTC.
Campus Development
One of the college’s values is to enhance excellence in every way possible! We’ve undertaken a lot of improvements in the grounds, the car parks, the signs, the lighting … and have a lot of dreams of other ways we can make our college properties beautiful, environmentally friendly, and a mirror of God’s love for creation.
If you would like to help us keep the NTC campus beautiful and support its development then you can choose to donate to the campus development fund.
Friends of NTC
We hope lots of you will have happy memories of NTC (or BINC or Hurlet) through your studies, ministries, or friendships, and just want to get involved in supporting a venture you’ve loved. NTC has an international and interdenominational impact, and with your support that will continue to flourish.
Our alumni are working with refugees and supporting the homeless, leading prestigious institutions and shaping mission movements, working with governments and founding charities, leading churches large and small, in all corners of the globe. Being a Friend of NTC means investing in the College and future students by committing to a regular gift to the College.
Student Hardship Fund
Some of our students face incredible challenges in their time with us but are faithful to their call. Every now and then a catastrophe happens and a student faces a genuine or unavoidable financial challenge.
Over the years we’ve developed a hardship fund for those students who struggle with living costs. Sometimes it comes about because of a family emergency, job loss, illness, bereavement or even a because of a delay in other financial support. We do our very best to ensure that no one goes short.
Sponsor a Student
Many students receive a calling to study at NTC and don’t possess the financial meants to do so. It’s the support of people like youthat opens up theological study to people from all over the world, allowing them to sustain the global mission of the church.
Over the years, our global scholarships have welcomed students from around the world. Your support allows us to reduce financial burdens and allow some truly formidable scholars to dive deep into theological thinking. Many of our students return to their communities equipped with skills that can help them to spread the word of God.
Hermann Gschwandtner Postgraduate Scholarship
The Hermann Gschwandtner Postgraduate Scholarship provides assistance for postgraduate students from South Asia.
Designed to support students pursuing full time or part-time study, the award will be named after a man who invested more than twenty-five years of his life in the work of the Church in South Asia, Dr Hermann Gschwandtner. Your donation will go into this scholarship fund.
Kent E Brower Scholarship
This scholarship is given in honour of Dr Kent E Brower, who has served the College faithfully as Dean, Vice Principal, and Director of Research. It is awarded to a PhD student who is recognised as an emerging scholar and teacher.
This scholarship can make all the difference for someone who feels called towards Postgraduate Research studies.
American or Canadian donors can donate to NTC through the Nazarene Foundation (US) or Church of the Nazarene (Canada) in order to claim their donations on their taxes:
- Canadian donors must contact the Church of the Nazarene – Canada Finance Team via email at [email protected] or by phone at 888-808-7490 to make their donation and claim it on their taxes.
- US donors must select Nazarene Theological College – Manchester DAF from the drop-down “designation” menu. Note that this is an external site.
