Staff Appointment: Marketing, Communication and Recruitment Manager

Are you an organised and creative marketing professional with experience of leading people, delivering campaigns, and engaging audiences? Do you enjoy combining strategic thinking with practical delivery? If so, we would welcome your application to join Nazarene Theological College.

Reporting to the Principal, the Marketing, Communication and Recruitment Manager will lead the College’s marketing, communications, recruitment, and admissions activities. The postholder will manage a small team, oversee the College’s digital presence, support student recruitment, and ensure that all communications reflect the College’s values and brand.

Nazarene Theological College is a partner college of The University of Manchester. Situated in Didsbury, Manchester, the College is an institution of the Church of the Nazarene.  Founded in 1944, NTC has some 350 students (both full and part time), across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study, representing some thirty-five different nationalities.

We are seeking someone with experience in marketing, communications, recruitment, or a related field, together with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple priorities, lead and support colleagues, use data to inform decision-making, and deliver high-quality marketing activity across a range of channels.

Key responsibilities include:
• Leading the delivery of the College’s marketing and recruitment activity.
• Managing the marketing, recruitment, and admissions team.
• Overseeing the College website, social media, newsletters, and digital communications.
• Supporting recruitment events, campaigns, and prospective student engagement.
• Managing marketing budgets, external suppliers, and creative projects.
• Using CRM and marketing data to monitor performance and improve outcomes.
• Ensuring all communications are accurate, professional, and aligned with the College brand.

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 depending on experience

Hours : 35 hours per week
