For professionals seeking to study part-time and in the evenings
This online, part-time MA degree is designed especially for professionals seeking to study part-time and in the evenings.
Delivered online and requiring availability just one evening per week, the programme allows students to explore a broad range of theological disciplines such as systematic theology, church history, biblical studies, and practical and pastoral theology, completing their studies in as little as two years.
Rather than specialising in a single area, students will have the opportunity to engage with 1–2 units from each discipline, providing a well-rounded theological education. This pathway is ideal for those working full-time in professional contexts, and offers a strong foundation for further academic research or vocational development.
Please note: If you wish to fund your studies via Student Finance, you must not have held a previous Master’s degree and intend to complete the course in 2 years.
You’ll have the opportunity to engage with 1–2 units from each discipline, providing a well-rounded theological education, and your dissertation may be in any of the disciplines taught at NTC, making for our most flexible programme of study yet! Subjects will rotate on a yearly basis, with one set of four being offered one year, and another set of four offered the next.
Johnny’s hard work at NTC has led to ministerial roles and helping to spread the word of God.
Gift explores the importance of high quality theological learning to the future of the church in Africa.
Beckie talks about learning around social justice and applying it at her role in the police.
Students will receive a minimum of 180 credits while on this course.
Our entry requirements are designed to accommodate a variety of educational backgrounds:
General entry: BA (Hons) with a 2:1 or higher.
