A pathway of learning without dissertation
NTC’s Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) consists of the same four classes as the full MA in Theology degree but does not require a dissertation. Class and placement requirements will depend on which pathway you take. For more specific information about modules and placements, please explore our MA in Theology pathways.

Our entry requirements are designed to accommodate a variety of educational backgrounds:
General entry:
Applicants to the PGCert normally have a BA (Hons) degree in a relevant subject, but we can work with you if you do not. Students who wish to progress on to complete the MA may do so, provided they have performed at the required level. Unique cases where applicants don’t entirely meet the mentioned criteria but present valid reasons for admission will be considered by the admissions committee.
Please contact admissions@nazarene.ac.uk for more details. We also offer a Pre-MA programme that you may be interested in or you may use your PGCert to enter into the MA once completed.
International students: applicants whose first language is not English need to demonstrate their English proficiency. Undergraduate students need a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or its equivalent, overall.
