Gain in-depth knowledge within your chosen specialisation
Interested in pursuing a master’s-level qualification in Theology, but without the commitment of a full dissertation? Consider our Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) programme. This concentrated pathway offers a focused exploration of theological concepts through two core modules. You’ll gain in-depth knowledge within your chosen specialisation, with the opportunity for practical experience through a tailored placement.
As a valued partner of The University of Manchester, we developed and deliver this exceptional programme. The PGCert is awarded by the University, ensuring you’ll receive a prestigious and recognised award upon completion.
You will normally choose one core class, one pathway-specific class, and any two classes from across our MA options.
Johnny’s hard work at NTC has led to ministerial roles and helping to spread the word of God.
Gift explores the importance of high quality theological learning to the future of the church in Africa.
Mick shares his journey of study, and how it led him to start Church on the Street.
Denise’s studies helped her to answer theological questions she’d been carrying since childhood.
Students will receive a minimum of 60 credits while on this course.
Our entry requirements are designed to accommodate a variety of educational backgrounds:
General entry:
Applicants to the PGCert normally have a BA (Hons) degree in a relevant subject, but we can work with you if you do not. Students who wish to progress on to complete the MA may do so, provided they have performed at the required level. Unique cases where applicants don’t entirely meet the mentioned criteria but present valid reasons for admission will be considered by the admissions committee.
Please contact admissions@nazarene.ac.uk for more details. We also offer a Pre-MA programme that you may be interested in or you may use your PGCert to enter into the MA once completed.
International students: applicants whose first language is not English need to demonstrate their English proficiency. Undergraduate students need a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, or its equivalent, overall.
