Anna has lived in Manchester for 20 years and has been involved with youth & community work for all that time. She completed her MA in Youth & Community Work Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002 after feeling challenged to get qualified after living and working on an Eden project in South Manchester. She worked for a national youth organisation called Connexions for nearly 14 years, working with young people with additional barriers to learning. She is married to an ex-youth worker paramedic and is trying to keep their twin sons, Levi and Josiah, out of too much mischief. When not working at NTC, she is kept busy being Chair of Governors at her boys’ school and building relationships with other mums living on her street.
