I currently work as the Academic Services and Operations Officer, which is varied role, so you may find me here, there, and everywhere. I mostly assist the Vice-Principal of Academics, Jacob, while also aiding in all the work the Academic Offices does in keeping the College running. Occasionally you’ll find me tidying the MWRC or cataloguing new books for the collection. Before taking on my current role, I temporarily worked in the library at NTC. The library was basically my second home as a student.
I studied both a BA (hons) in Theology and MA in Theology (Biblical Studies) here at NTC. I loved writing essays and spending time picking apart arguments in order to further my understanding of Scripture. My favourite class was Greek because I felt it began to allow me to work from the ground up when attempting to interpret New Testament texts. I undertook theological study because of the number of questions I had surrounding faith. Through the four years of study, I was able to reframe my understanding of who God is and what he is asking of us, which has led me to a greater sense of peace and conviction.
